’Tis the Season to bring holiday cheer! ’Tis is also the season to find all the holiday lights! Whether you want to stay in your car or take a stroll, we have listed five places to visit if you want to go see some Christmas lights this holiday season!
1) Deerfield – Plano
This neighborhood in Plano offers house after house all decorated for the holidays. Stay in your car and drive down the streets watching all the light shows. Everything is lit up between 7-10 PM on the weekdays and 7-11 PM on the weekends. Best part… it’s free!
2) Radiance – Frisco
Get everyone in the family a nice cup of hot chocolate, hop in the car, and head to the Dr. Pepper Ballpark to view the music animated light show all from the comfort of your car. The 25-minute show is $30 per car (unless you want to upgrade to the VIP package for $50). It’s definitely a show you don’t want to miss – and you probably haven’t if you’ve driven down the tollway this holiday season! 3) Vitruvian Park – Addison
Vitruvian Park completely transforms the nightlife when the holiday season rolls around, wrapping every tree in sparkling LED lights. Visit here if you want to take a stroll through the park, take some Instagram worthy photos, and just enjoy the crisp weather all for free. The lights run from 5-11 PM every night. 4) Christmas Spectacular Light Show – The Colony
The Colony Christmas Spectacular Light Show is choreographed to music and starts every night at 5:30 (ending at 10:30 PM on weekdays and 10:50 PM on the weekends). Just head to the Central Fire Station (4900 Blair Oaks Dr), tune into 99.9 FM, and enjoy the lights paired to the music!
5) Christmas in the Square – Frisco
Christmas in the Square is a staple to the holiday season in Frisco. This year, the lights have been upgraded including even more lights than ever! If you would like to just sit parked in your car, you can tune into 107.3 FM – If you would like to take a stroll through The Square, speakers are throughout playing music to aid your experience. This is free for the public and runs daily 6-10 PM.
